In Krina’s Words

In 2004, I was given the opportunity of a life time. To grow the Salem-Keizer Education Foundation into a relevant and intentional partner with Oregon’s second largest school district. In the last 14 years, we have awarded thousands of dollars to local educators thanks to a 36 year tradition we call the Awesome, built a School Supply Depot, an award-winning school garden program and an after-school program that has earned special commendation from state and national organizations. The new Center for Student Success will host Stanford University in October. Hundreds of individuals have made this happen. They care deeply about our children and their success. The staff and volunteers of SKEF are angels on earth. Their commitment and energy for this great work is beyond compare.

Now that SKEF’s new home is complete, it is time for me to move on to other interests. I have the opportunity to expand my consulting business and am looking forward to working with many more great people and organizations. Please contact the board of directors with any questions.

For the love of education,

Krina Lee
