Angelique is a freshman at South Salem High School. She is an IB student, varsity cheerleader and participates in the chamber orchestra. She has been part of SKEF’s Enrichment Academy Program since she was in elementary school. When asked how SKEF has made a difference in her life, here is what she said:

“I have been influenced by SKEF’s Enrichment Academy for years. I’ve seen the instructors work really hard to make a difference in kid’s lives in our community and could honestly give testimony on even the day to day differences the program has made in my life; from helping me with homework and a problem I just couldn’t understand after school, to opening my mind to different ideas with the activities they offer that I wouldn’t normally have experienced.

My goals in life stem from seeing how kids in EA have been helped in the program. After high school, my plan is to attend Stanford as a Global Studies major, followed by joining the Peace Corps to be able to make a difference in another community as this program has done here in Salem-Keizer. I enjoyed learning how to garden and having my mind opened by STEM experiments. SKEF made a daily difference in not just my life, but the lives of so many of my friends. We should all be trying to make a difference in any community.”

By supporting SKEF, you are supporting AWESOME kids like Angelique. Helping every student, every day realize their dreams.
