Eagle Charter

Hi! My name is Miss Annie and I am the coordinator for SKEF here at Eagle.

This will be my 7th school year here. Both of my daughters attended Eagle and so this school is very special to me. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel (we love Disneyland) and spending time outside. During before and after school program I like to include a wide variety of activities including art, outdoors/nature, STEM and literacy. And of course time for homework! We start program at 7:00 til school starts and 3:00 to 6:00. The door behind the main building is our drop off and pick up, please ring the door bell and we will quickly answer the door. In case of inclement weather we follow the Salem-Keizer schools.
I’m extremely excited for this school year!

Making new friends and seeing all our familiar faces!

You will pick up and drop off your students on the backside of the church at the double doors, near the big tree.

Wright Elementary

Hello, my name is Desiree Broussard. I am originally from Southern California and moved to Salem in summer of 2015. In my spare time I enjoy being outside with my husband and two year old daughter, Gracyn. Growing up in SoCal I went to Disneyland all the time and love all things Disney, so I take any chance I can to travel down and visit.

This year I am entering my fourth year as coordinator with it being my second year here at Wright. I am really excited to be here and get to know the new group of students. This year I hope to build a stronger partnership with school staff and work together to enrich the lives of our students. It is my goal to provide students with a supportive atmosphere to help them grow and thrive.

Cathryn Hentz

Cathryn Hentz

Salem Heights

My name is Cathryn Hentz, and I will be the site coordinator for the Salem Heights Enrichment Academy throughout this school year. I have always had a passion when it comes to working with children and am excited to continue my work in the childcare field. Last year I graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in educational foundations and am still continuing forward in my own education. With that being said, I’m happy to not only help teach students but also learn from my own experiences while working with them.

This will be my second year working for the Salem Keizer Education Foundation and I look forward to making meaningful connections with students, parents and the school staff during the year. In our program this year I want to put a large focus on implementing curriculum that students are personally interested in. We will do a variety of crafts, STEM activities, games, etc. that will challenge students’ minds in a fun and engaging way.

SKEF pick up/drop off area will be at the school’s gym. The entrance will be marked with a sign and doorbell to ring once you are there. If we are in any other areas of the school (playground, cafeteria, etc.) a sign will be posted as well as a phone number just in case you need to contact me.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Rabecca Moreno

Rabecca Moreno

Weddle Elementary

Hello my name is Rabecca Moreno and I have been with SKEF for about 3 years now and at Weddle for two years. I ended last year as the site coordinator. I am excited to start the year fresh and get to know more students who come into our program. This year I hope to make good connections with all the students and parents to make it a safe environment for learning and fun. We are a small group so we get to spend a lot of time together and it’s easier to communicate with one another. We are able to gain really good relationships as students and teachers.

Every pick up I will be able to speak to you about how your child was doing, as well as, if you have any question for me I will be happy to answer them for you. We are located in the cafeteria. If you are looking at the school straight on we are on the left side of the school and up the railing. Make sure to knock loudly enough for us to hear you because we are at the tables furthest from the entrance to the cafeteria. I am eager to get to know all of you during this school year. Thank you!

Sublimity Elementary

Hi, I’m Nicole and I am the coordinator at Sublimity School Enrichment Academy. This is my second year with the school and I am excited to be back teaching the after school program. A little about me, I have a passion for working with children and to help them reach their full potential. I have received a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in 2018 to gain the knowledge and experience in social services to work with children and families.

This year I hope to provide a fun and enriching program for the students. Activities will be based around the interests of the students and to include STEM and Arts, as well as being supplemented with videos and worksheets. I also hope to build a stronger relationship between school, program, and community.

Parent/Guardian pick up is at the Sublimity School cafeteria/gym building, right next to Sublimity Middle School. Please note, Enrichment Academy is not located at the main building of Sublimity Elementary School, but kitty corner to the school and downstairs in the cafeteria. You may park on the road in front of building or pull into the parking lot.
